Should drive-thru windows be banned?
A North Vancouver city councillor is calling for a ban on drive-thru windows in new restaurants, citing pollution and noise concerns. Sam Schechter says his constituents have largely supported the motion. “I think they understand that the convenience of not having to get out of your car has to be weighed against the inconvenience of the effects of global warming,” he tells CBC News Morning.
